The Big Man...Santa that is!

Every year, Greene County Parks and Rec. put on this excellent "Santa in the Park" program.  They take an old house and decorate it - inside and out - and have a Santa and Mrs. Clause.  They do this every weekend in December.  We decided to go last weekend and had talked to Zoe about it.  We were sure that she would sit on his lap because she seemed so excited about it.  She had even waved and blown kisses to the Santa at the mall!
The excellent part about visiting Santa here is that it is all free, but the worse part is that you have to wait outside and the house isn't heated - it is very cold! There is also a free wagon ride through the surrounding grounds that they have decorated.
The day before we had planned to go, Zoe got the belly bug. Thankfully it didn't last too long, but she still wasn't feeling the greatest when we went to see Santa.  The closer we got to the house, the quieter and more nervous she got! As we got onto the porch of the house, she wanted held and was saying her belly hurt - she was just nervous and didn't want to sit on Santa's lap.  She decided to just watch Jack instead.  He didn't mind at all because he was getting held and had lights to look at.... :-) We didn't end up doing the wagon ride because it was freezing cold and Zoe was still saying she didn't feel well.
**An update on Santa coming soon**

Checking out her gift from Mrs. Clause

Being shy and not wanting anyone to bother her about not sitting on Santa's lap

She wasn't shy about getting a free tatoo though!
