Here is what happens...

You never know what you're going to get with 1st graders.  I took a little time today to grade last week's spelling tests.  Here is what happens when you give the word "hot" and the next word is "SHIRT"....

  1. Haha!! Oh boy. I've actually had my daughter do that when she was writing the word ship!! How funny.

I scrolled down through the last few posts, your baby's spot (I forget the term already) reminded my of when my son, Payson, was a baby and had eczema. Oh man when it got bad I felt so awful for him. I'm really hoping they find a lotion that works on his.

And you said that Jack was born around the same time as Ember? And he rolled over already! Ember doesn't even try a little bit to roll over! Lazy bum. haha
And your boy looks tall but I bet he and Ember's chub is about the same. I think she weighs close to 17 pounds now!

  2. Jack's "spots" were actually impetigo and are finally clearning up! We have been through so many medications for it and the eczema taht I don't even remember which one worked!
He was born August 26th. He has been rolling from his back to his belly for a few weeks now, but just can't figure out how to get rolled back over. It makes us crazy because he rolls to his belly as soon as you put him down, but then puts his arms back and arches his back and screams!
At his 4 month checkup he was measuring above the 90th percentile in head, height and weight. I'm going to guess he is pushing close to 19 pounds now. It is funny because his sister is 3 1/2 and only weighs 29 pounds!
