Trick or Treat

Last year, Zoe did an awesome job trick-or-treating once she realized that people were giving her candy. She could have cared less about who was dressed as what....as long as she was getting candy.
This year, she wanted to walk with her friends, which was fine with us. I was a little worried though because these girls are older than Zoe and walk much faster. They started out really well and were taking care of Zoe like her little mommies. After about 6 houses though, they were getting faster and faster and Zoe ended up tripping on a hidden flower bed edging that was covered in leaves. She cried (because it hurt of course), the other girls made sure she was ok, but then were excited and kept going. We ended up crossing the street and going back the other way to be sure we made it to Donna's house. Zoe acted funny from then on. We think it was a combination of her being scared of falling again and of her wanting her friends. The good part was that she never really acted scared of anyone dressed up.

Overall, she didn't do too bad though and made it for about an hour. She got plenty of candy, esp. since it isn't something that we give her that often! Jack did a great job too. He went dressed as a "sleeping" Zebra - he snoozed all snug in his stroller the entire time :)
