Let the Christmas celebrations begin!

We started last weekend with the basketball game that I already blogged about and just kept up with the busy weekend after that! We stayed in Waverly Friday night since the game was so far away.  We got up early and left around 10 on Saturday to come back home for a little bit.  When we got back into Xenia, we stopped and grabbed stuff to make a veggie tray.
Around 2 that afternoon, we were dressed and ready to head out. We went to my cousins house in DeGraff (which is about an hour drive away) and had a blast spending time with the family! I'm really mad though because I took my camera and then didn't take any pictures! GRRR! We had a white elephant gift exchange. Ryan ended up getting a tool box and I got a picture frame - both of which my sister bought! We ate delicious food and played a game called "Things".  What a fun night! By the time we got home, we were exhausted.  It's a lot of driving from Waverly to Xenia then to DeGraff and back to Xenia.
Sunday was our Christmas with Ryan's mom's side of the family.  We had originally planned to get up early and go to church, but when we got up, the rain had changed to snow and the roads looked nasty.  We decided to hang out at the house for a while until the snow slowed down.  We ended up heading out around 9:45 and got to the church for lunch around 11:10. The roads were pretty nasty because it took about 40 minutes longer than normal, but the yummy food made up for it! We went back to Kathy's so the kiddos could open their gifts and we could all visit.  Here are a few pictures from our visit :-)

Zoe set up everything on the couch and wanted their picture taken with it!

Zoe opened her gifts....

Then she helped Jack with his :-)

We really should have done
a group shot before opening presents!
