4 months

Yes - 4 months! I can't believe he is that old already! It seems like he was just popping himself out onto the delivery table.  Jack is becoming such a big boy and is a great baby! The only "complaint" may be that he still wants to eat every 2 to 3 hours at night, but he is just a baby!
He is really starting to develop a personality.  He loves to smile and laugh at anyone that gives him attention. He is following people and objects really well.  He has started to discover his hands - and his thumb! I try really hard to keep his thumb out of his mouth and push the paci in, but sometimes I'm extremely unsuccessful! He will roll over onto his side, but still has no desire to be on his belly. He is still wearing 12 month clothes, but a few things that have been passed down are starting to get a little snug.
We are still having a lot of trouble trying to keep his skin clear.  The doctor has referred us to a dermatologist that we see in the middle of January.  She also tested him for food allergies.  We found out that he is showing a slight allergy to "cow's milk and wheat".  I still have full intentions and hopes of nursing him until he is 12 months, so it looks like I will be cutting these things out of my diet.  What a way to lose weight! Hopefully this will help him and that he will be able to outgrow the allergy before he really begins to eat food.
At his checkup on the 27th, he was:
17lbs 10oz - 90th percentile
28 1/2 inches long - 98th percentile
and his head was somewhere in the 90th percentile also

This may be the last month I am able to take his monthly pictures in his swing.  He loves to sit in it, but he obviously is outgrowing it!
