Christmas Day

We were so excited for Christmas Day this year.  Zoe was so excited about presents and we couldn't wait for her to open what Santa brought.  Once again, she didn't want to go to sleep, so it was about 11:30 before Santa could come.  He left some nice gifts though!

Zoe was excited to have "knock-a-lures" in her stocking!

Hmmm....what's this?

We laughed the entire time she was opening gifts.  She had to keep looking at her "pretty self" in between each gift.  She would clean up every scratch of paper and then go sit at her vanity. She would take out the brush and comb and look at herself before moving on to the next present. It took her about 45 minutes to open 10 gifts!

She wouldn't tell Santa what she wanted, but she did write him a letter and said she wanted a Dora game (boy, that wasn't easy to find) and a sweeper for Christmas. Thankfully, he brought her both and she loves them!

Bob and Kathy always come over Christmas morning to visit and open gifts.  Who knows what I was thinking, but completely forgot to get a group shot of all of us....this was the closest I got :(
Mimi and Grandpa "Nike" got the coolest gift this year, and we all enjoyed putting it together. Drew dove right in thinking it was going to be a piece of cake when in the end, it took about 5 of us at once to get it together.  The trampline was a hit though and she jumped and jumped on it.

The whole gang! We haven't had a family picture since Ryan and I got married - guess we were a little over due!

At the end of the night, I was working on putting a toy together. Zoe said she was going to sit on her trampline with a blanket, the next thing we knew, she was asleep! Too cute!
